Some Parishioners and other residents of the area are receiving **SUSPICIOUS** CALLS, TEXT MESSAGES (from a cell phone number or from Applications), and EMAILS; from the Priest, or from Some "Key Parishioners" of St. John, or even from some "Parishioners in Need" who are "Authorized" by the Priest or by the Parish... These messages ARE NOT LEGIT!

REMEMBER that technology is advancing incredibly, Scammers know it.... they also use Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) to create Audios (voices), Videos (almost realistic) that confuse and scam people with good hearts.

The Pastor of St. John Catholic Church, Our Staff, Our Volunteers, Our parishioners, DO NOT communicate by Text Messages, by Applications, by personal E-Mails, to request Financial Assistance of any Kind.

We only COMMUNICATE through Our Official Website, through Our Bulletin, through Our Official Facebook Page, through Our Official Email Account, through Telephone Calls from the Parish Office, and through PARISH ANNOUNCEMENTS at the END of MASS.     

These are the ONLY MEANS OF COMMUNICATIONS by which we contact with our Parishioners and Neighbors. We ask that you take PRECAUTIONS and also Let your brothers and sisters in the faith know about this.
